Many of Fairweather's medical professionals are trained in aviation weather support. These individuals are certified by NOAA's National Weather Service under Supplementary Aviation Weather Reporting Station (SAWRS) and report under the METAR System. These experienced members of the Fairweather team assist air carriers in determining meteorological conditions for the feasibility of flights.
