MEDICAL TRAINING
Fairweather, LLC offers several types of training classes. Our medical training division will tailor courses to meet your company’s individual business needs. Our certified professionals are available to teach the following:
Medic First Aid - Medic First Aid is a widely accepted international program. The eight hour course covers CPR, AED, and Adult First Aid. Our Paramedic instructors can teach as many as 12 students per course. Fairweather, LLC provides this training at our facility or on-site at your work location.
ETT - The Emergency Trauma Technician training program is 40 hours in length and teaches the basics of emergency medical care.
EMT-1 - The Emergency Medical Technician-1 is equivalent to the National Standard EMT-Basic, as described in the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) curriculum. The EMT-1 course is at least 120 hours in length and CPR certification is a prerequisite.
CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION
Our Medical Providers maintain Continuing Medical Education Credits by attending our advanced training program offered twice per year. Fairweather’s innovative approach to Continuing Medical Education separates us from the rest. These courses offer training utilizing our state of the art medical equipment. Our medical educators are practicing Physicians, Nurses, and Paramedics from medical centers and air ambulance carriers in Alaska.
