Logistics and Expediting

Fairweather, LLC was founded in 1976 to provide critical logistics and expediting services to companies involved in oil and mineral exploration in remote regions of Alaska. Today, Fairweather brings over 35 years of experience to ensure that personnel, supplies and equipment arrive safely and on time, no matter how remote the location.

Expediting services include creating schedules and manifests for charter aircraft, managing passenger and freight movement, vehicle and equipment leasing, and other specific logistics support services as determined. To better facilitate cargo movement to remote regions, Fairweather operates a fleet of modified flat bed trucks with folding sides to accommodate the loading of pallets from jets for distribution over the Arctic National Petroleum Reserve. These customized trucks feature hitches and running boards coated with non-slip material for improved safety, along with specialized lighting for increased visibility.

Fairweather has set the standard for cargo movement on the North Slope, providing trusted logistics and expediting services for operators such as Chevron, Unocal, BP and Shell.
