Paramedics/EMT IIIs
Paramedics and EMT IIIs are specialized health care professionals who respond to medical and trauma emergencies in the pre-hospital environment, provide emergency treatment, and have the ability to transport a patient to the hospital for further assessment or follow-up care. Paramedics and EMT IIIs provide fast paced, calm, controlled care to benefit the sick or injured in the event of an emergency. Utilization of Paramedics and State of Alaska EMT IIIs enhances the Emergency Response capability of your organization.
Our Paramedics and EMT IIIs:
- Maintain 24/7/365 consult with the ER for MEDEVAC
- Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Provide an advanced level of care
- Stabilize and treat patients
- Certified in International Trauma Life Support
- Prepare patients for Air Medical Transport
- Effectively use Alaska MEDEVAC systems
- Have Solid Delayed Transport Experience
Our Paramedics are:
- Graduates of a 6 month to two year program
- Nationally Certified
- Licensed by the State of Alaska
- Fully credentialed
- Are versed and understand OSHA related Aggressive First Aid concepts
- Experienced with Emergency Medicine
- Well practiced with Ambulance units
- Knowledgeable of Shipboard Care
- Experienced providers of Remote Occupational Support
